So I took this picture today while driving my civic... how many things can you find wrong?

So yeah, kind of a long weekend. I helped the Perks's move into their new apartment. It was cool to see little Adrian again. He's not so scared of me now I guess. He still crawls away and hides when I'm around. Oh well...

Yeah, so the Perks's are moving across the way, but my buddy Becka and his family are moving to DC. He had a little going away thing the other night at his place... or what's left of his place. There was one couch left and that's it. It sucks to see him go.

This past week, Josh, Pest, and I have had a small obsession with Heineken's mini-keg. These things are actually pretty good! Oh yeah, Pest is learning to wheelie his Harley. There's something comical about seeing a Harley up on one wheel.

Let's see, what else is goin on... I got pulled over AGAIN by the SAME cop. Same thing, he doesn't like how my plate is mounted. This is the fifth time he's pulled me over, and the fifth different plate mounting that I've had. Last time he pulled me over was three days before I left for the desert and he gave me a ticket then for it which was total BS. Had to take an entire morning to go take care of the ticket so I didn't get a warrant while I was gone. Well I came back and made a new mount for it. He still doesn't like it. What the hell right?    It could be worse though, Brian got nailed on Saturday night with FIVE moving violations. That's right kids... count 'em... FIVE! Speeding, driving too fast for conditions, unsafe lane changes, failure to signal, and driving too close. Yeah, that's gonna be a few dollars.

So tonight we all kicked back here and did our best to relax. Josh was recovering from last night. You see, he woke up around 6:00pm tonight, not sure how he got back to his place from the night before, and with a two inch cut over his eye. No idea how it got there. Anyway, we all kicked back and did some BBQ'in. Cole cooked up some wings that turned out damn good. Steve brought some beer and a bunch of steaks. I bought some brisket and grilled it up... Everything was so good. So we all sat around, drank beer and just BS'ed for a while... good times.

So my buddy Rob got a new car... it's a 1995 BMW 325is. Such a sweet car. So yeah, we drove all the way up to Dallas, bought it, then drove all the way back in the same day. He got to drive the sweet BMW back, but I got stuck with his girlfriend's cavalier, which had no A/C, no power anything, and a damn sticker on the back window that says "Punk Rock Girl."

So I haven't really done any wheelies since I've been back... just haven't had any good opportunities. Josh did one the other night and a cop pulled him over for it... luckily the cop let him go. So when Brian told me he found a great road to go play on, I was all about it. I rode a couple great ones, and a cop showed up RIGHT AFTER we left. Anyway, it felt good to be up on one again.

I've been meaning to post up, but I guess I've just been slacking off... anyway, I'M HOME!!!

So what's one of the best ways to celebrate being back in America? How bout a road trip to the new Cabela's that just opened up South of Austin! Which is what Brian and I did. Gas prices be dammed, we loaded up the Hemi, made a quick stop by Taco Bell and headed up I-35.

Cabela's is awesome... words cannot describe how great that store is! We just wandered around for the first hour, checking out all the Carhartt gear, picking up some Goretex treatment I've been looking for, and enjoying the awe that is Cabela's. Then the real fun started in the archery department. The guy working the counter said "Yeah, want to go fire some arrows?" Five minutes later I'm standing in their air conditioned, indoor archery range with a $1000 bow that looks more like somethin out of a Rambo movie, crankin off arrow after arrow. What a wonderful store! It's good to be back...
